Apologies for not writing this in Chinese, but I do not have Chinese available at this public computer.
I left Hangzhou in July, and am now in Toronto, Canada - where I am studying development studies. I thank all of you for visiting my blog, and leaving comments! I have a new blog (only in English) called Random Stuff that Matters, and you are all very welcome to visit it!
Feel free to send me an email if you want to contact me (Chinese or English are both OK).
So far, so good, 用英文说。
Friends, sorry for writing English, but there is no Chinese keyboard at this internet cafe.
Very short update: -we started biking from the border of China and Laos. We did so for a few days, but soon we found out our bikes were not good enough (Chinese quality ), and the landscape was very hilly, so we decided to go by bus. We still brought the bikes and had a good time making day excursions. -we split up in Vientiane, I went to Bangkok, tonight I am going to the south of Thailand, then on to Malaysia and Singpore, before I fly to Hong Kong, and go back to Hangzhou. -Leylop is going down to Cambodia, up through Vietnam and back to Hangzhou. -afterwards I will be living in Hangzhou. Leylop is part of the reason
this means I will be looking for an apartment in Hangzhou, not too expensive, and hopefully with lots of nice Chinese neighbours, and a nice crowded food-street just below. I won''t be working very much, since I will be studying Chinese, but I''d be more than willing to consider a few well-paid hours a week.
Will write more when I get back to China. Take care!
